Hello and Welcome
Thank you for your interest in this key strategic role with the Ninestiles Academy Trust (NAT).
As Chair of the Trust Board, I’m delighted that you’ve taken the opportunity to find out more about our important work and I hope that you’ll find here all the information you need to inspire you to join – and lead – our team as the Trust’s new Chief Executive. Following the appointment of our previous Chief Executive, Christine Quinn, to the role of RSC for the West Midlands, a unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a proven education leader and innovator to use their skills, knowledge and experience to lead, develop and inspire the work of the Trust, at both strategic and operational levels.
Our mission is for our constituent academies and overall Trust to be nationally and internationally acknowledged as a high achieving, innovative and exciting group of schools which recognise and respect the richness and diversity of their communities. Inclusion, high achievement for all and the celebration of our diversity lie at the heart of our practice, values which are borne out of our day to day striving for the best possible education outcomes for all members of our communities: students, staff, families and wider stakeholders.
Making a positive and lasting impact in our academies is challenging and rewarding in equal measure. We have made and maintained improvements in all our academies but we recognise there is still much to do to secure outstanding opportunities for all learners across the Trust.
There is no room for complacency. We are seeking an outstanding leader, a colleague capable of consolidating and building on the Trust’s and the constituent academies’ achievements. We are open to growth in a careful and considered way and we are pleased to be in discussions with a local sixth form college about becoming part of our Trust. We seek to innovate and excel in all we do for the benefit for our learners and wider academy communities.
Our new Chief Executive will need to develop a local, regional, national and international profile, working with the talented professionals in Trust: this is a role for a passionate advocate of children’s rights to an outstanding education and a leader capable of independent and innovative thought – thinking, working and leading outside the box!
These are certainly exciting times, and as you read on you’ll learn more about how we work and our future plans. For now, I hope you’ll be intrigued to know more. If you have any questions about the role please do speak with our advising consultants at Navigate, Jo Fish and Rachel Singer, who would be delighted to have an informal (and confidential) conversation on either 0113 287 8445 or 0207 637 5007.
